The Main Gate at The Vigeland Park

The Vigeland Park has 212 sculptures made of bronze, granite and wrought iron. They are grouped in 5 large units along an 850 meters long axis: The Main gate, the Bridge, the Fountain, The Monolith and the Wheel of Life. The sculptor was Gustav Vigeland. The work with the park started in 1924 and was finished around 1950.
