Nationaltheatret (The National Theatre)
Oslo's main theatre opened in September 1899 with Bjørn Bjørnson as it's first director. The architect was Henrik Bull. The building is surrounded by statues of well-known authors: Henrik Ibsen, Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson and Ludvig Holberg - and actors: Johanne Dybvad and Per Aabel. |
