Nasjonalgalleriet (National Gallery) - Staircase

The National Gallery was opened in 1838 and since then its collection of art has steadily grown from mere 28 works to about 50 000 in 2001.
300 000 visitors each year.

Early 2005 the gallery reopened after a period of redecoration and changing of the exhibition. The new exhitibition has caused a rage in the media.
